Welcome To My Home Page

Hello! Welcome to the West Virginia Autumn Festival a.k.a. the WV Autumn Festival. The festival was established in 1995 by Sue Loyd and Suzanne Wine. With the help of their husbands Fred Loyd and Mark Wine and the assistance and support of their children Fred Loyd II, Stacy Loyd, Joshua Loyd, Brittany Wine and Stephanie Wine and members of their extended families they have made their small festival an ever present success.

Sue and Suzanne came up with the idea of a festival because their community was so small and had very little to offer the citizens in Burnsville, West Virginia. Burnsville is located in Braxton County and has a population estimated at close to 500. With the labor of their families and friends like Darrell Brown, Kenny Graham, Stanley Wine, Barbara Anson, and several others they were able to build a small stage with lighting on the field behind the local elementary school. The Board of Education and principal of the school Mr. Charles M. McCoy okayed the venture as long as it would be maintained and the school could use the stage also.

More Information
The festival has had several volunteers throughout the years and are always on the lookout for more.  In addition to the ones listed in the building of the stage the following have also been invaluable assets to the WV Autumn Festival: Beverly Berlo, John Berlo, Sherrie Brown, Darrel Wayne Ramsey, Adam Ramsey, Mark Ramsey, James Ramsey, Josh Ramsey, Christal Wine, Susie Allen, Shirley Teter, Steve Prince,Ashley Wine, Bob Sprouse, Jane Sprouse, Jack Dean, Twila White, Snow White, David Lackey, Jenny Sullivan, Sandy Fisher, Sandra Belknap, Sara Belknap, Kim Wyatt, Shannon Wyatt, Cordell Loyd, Kim Coffman, Pat Sandy, Clarissa Coffman, Ted "Alaska" LaFond, Alisha Facemire, Shelly Rowgh, Amber Pecora, Cathy Pecora, Donna Bachman, Danielle Bachman, Crystal Smith, and Molly Frame.
